Illithri – blonde Elven race who favors forests

Ne sala – Elven for “my beloved”
Pathla – This is a cross between a bedroom, an office, and a room for the treating of mild injuries in the Healers’ enclave.
pudao - The Chinese Pudao, originally an infantry weapon, has been adopted into the martial arts and its use in the hands of a skilled practitioner is spectacular. This weapon is also known as a horse-cutter sword, since it was used to slice the legs out from under a horse during battle.
Sennight – “seven night” – this is the demarcation of a week in all the lands of Vassa. (All stories)
Sennit – shortened version of sennight (All stories)
Sentai - Master/Mistress; is used to denote someone of considerable rank in Sindla that does not yet have the rank/honor/prestige/etc. to be classed as a Settai.
Settai - Lord/Lady
Sika mallets – It’s a game kind of like croquet and cricket mixed with polo. Don’t ask me…the characters created it.
Sindla - Desert home of the Kimrayan Elves.
Sindlan - Northerner's name for the Kimrayans.
sissa – Childish reference to a younger sister.
Sketha - A word that functions as a generic swearword.
Terathen – part dragon humanoid race
Terig’nar - "The Six Who Rule"; the name for the three Light Dancers and the three Dark Dancers in Sindla, generally led by the White Dancer, also known as the Bladedancer of Life or Lifedancer. Ymindia – this is the childish form of a much more complex phrase that is used to indicate a deceased loved one, usually a grandparent or an aunt or uncle
Phrases
Ana’hala, nekansa omarnis. – "My soul cries for you, mother of my heart."
Ikahi, ne salan. – A very common farewell among Elven married couples that means “Be at peace, my beloved.”
Ils eternum, ne sala – Elven promise of marriage; it means “For eternity, my beloved.”
Ma’hela, mother. – “Light keep you, mother.” A very formal greeting from a living child to her deceased mother.
